MES40 and MED Cold Smoker kit

My MES40 sits on a stand which raises the loading tray up off the ground about 15 inches. Have any of you guys installed the MES Cold Smoking Attachment to a smoker that is raised up on a stand? If so, how did you attach it? Did you build support for it to sit on?

Don't know. I got it for Christmas and am just now getting around to messing with it.

If you connect it with a dryer duct it will work fine.
Keep the cold smoke unit lower than the smoker.
Ideally you want to have 4-5 feet of hose between the smoker & the cold smoke unit.
I used one for a while, but it broke & I'm back with the Amazen tray or tube.

What Al said.. I use the same set up. The only difference from Al is that I use the semi rigid dryer vent.
