MES 40 & adding a Ceramic Tile

Yes, just get a 12x12 tile at Home Depot. Bear uses a piece of aluminum tilted up so the heat will go right up the middle of the smoker. PM him & he will explain what he did.

I received my retro kit for mes40 smoke box, thought I would get a new chip loader too !

Yes just put it in the right rear corner on the chip box.

You can get any old cheap tile at any home improvement store...
