Here at Casa de Boatbum we had a lovely time!
Christmas dinner was rib roast with horseradish and bearnaise sauce, Brussels sautéed in butter with nutmeg and sherry and scalloped potatoes out of a box. I take my shortcuts where I can. [emoji]128516[/emoji]
Didn't smoke the roast, tried the method where you stick it into a 500° oven for 5 minutes per pound, then turn it off and leave it for 2 hours. It was tasty, and certainly easy, but I think I'll stick to smoking them from now on.
Anyway, hope y'all had a great one and here's to a fantastic 2017!!
