TLDR - my MB20061321 smoker pairs over Bluetooth but doesn’t show any Wi-Fi networks. It only connects via hotspot (weak signal, even next to it). Already tried firmware update, antenna replacement, and simple SSID/password.
Hi everyone,
I have a Masterbuilt Electric Charcoal Smoker (model MB20061321) that refuses to connect to Wi-Fi. It pairs with my phone via Bluetooth just fine, but when I reach the “Select a Network” step, no networks appear.
I’ve tested multiple phones and networks (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), ensured SSID and password have no special characters and are under 15 characters, updated the firmware, and even replaced the antenna. I did get it to connect once via a phone hotspot, but the signal shows as very weak even when I’m sitting right next to the smoker.
Has anyone run into this issue? Is there a fix, or is this a hardware fault? Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
