TLDR - my MB20061321 smoker pairs over Bluetooth but doesn’t show any Wi-Fi networks. It only connects via hotspot (weak signal, even next to it). Already tried firmware update, antenna replacement, and simple SSID/password.
Hi everyone,
I have a Masterbuilt Electric Charcoal Smoker (model MB20061321) that refuses to connect to Wi-Fi. It pairs with my phone via Bluetooth just fine, but when I reach the “Select a Network” step, no networks appear.
I’ve tested multiple phones and networks (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), ensured SSID and password have no special characters and are under 15 characters, updated the firmware, and even replaced the antenna. I did get it to connect once via a phone hotspot, but the signal shows as very weak even when I’m sitting right next to the smoker.
Has anyone run into this issue? Is there a fix, or is this a hardware fault? Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Do not have that smoker but my Auber wifi was really picky for some reason. For giggles, I threw a wifi extender I had laying around in the garage near the smoker and it fixed the issue. We then went fiber a year or so later and new router and Auber clicked like it should. Good luck and welcome!

I, also, don't have the same cooker but my pellet grill has poor Wifi range. I had to pick up a cheap TP-Link N300 WiFi extender (TL-WA855RE) off Amazon and place it 10-12 feet away for it to connect.
