I work at a food processing company that makes bacon, I was wanting to take some of our maple flavor and dilute it down like we do at my job. But everyone is saying that maple flavored ribs sound like a terrible idea. I plan on injecting the maple into the ribs then smoking them on my wood pellet grill for 3 hours then so on. Any advice and good rib recipes would be great.

Thank you guys, right now I’ve got 10 oz of water to 1 oz maple flavor. My biggest fear is that it’ll cause the meat to caramelize (if I spelled that correctly) with the sugar from the maple if I were to inject it.

I say, "Try it."
But, I think you should go light on it initially.
Instead of injecting I'd baste twice in the last hour.

I'd follow the advice above from the sage :emoji_laughing: The way Chili described it is exactly how I'd do it. If they come out great, you've hit a home run. If they need a bit of an adjustment next time, you can do that. It's always easier to add flavor to something than it is to remove it if overdone.
