Pork legs were on for 98cents a lb. at the local supermarket. Just had to buy a couple of 24 pounders because I was out of home made sausage. Got close to 40 lbs. of ground out of them.
Italian is my fav. so I made 20 lbs. of it, 8 lbs. German Bratwurst, 5 lbs. fresh Polish, ad 5 lbs. of Portuguese Linguisa . Did a variety of sausage, bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, and some pork sides too. Cooked them up in the UDS and some roasted veggies, and had a feast. Also got myself a nice 18 lb whole shoulder at $1.30 a lb. for the next "Pig out"!
