We got a big coastal nor'easter coming Sunday night into Monday. 12"-20" of wet snow with higher amounts at the immediate coast and of course the accompanying winds that will bring power outages and coastal flooding though the timing of tides and wind may be favorable.
Fun times ahead.

I hope it stays south. I just finished shoveling 7-8" of the wet stuff.

Cold here, with brown grass... but our daughter was glad they moved home... just had 14 inches of snow in central Iowa. Your weather in the northeast sounds nasty!

I know you're on the island, but make sure you hit the Poly Market before you leave.

This one actually bothers me a little, heavy wet snow and lots of it sucks,if it were going to be cold then the dry stuff isn't so bad but it's not going to be that cold.I'm not getting any younger and moving this stuff even with a snowblower isn't so easy anymore. If I still had my dad and my father in-law to worry about I'd be having a meltdown right about now.

Again, very jealous. We are having the lowest snowpack since they started recording it. We are seeing grass fires its so dry. This summer is gonna be red flag alerts everyday I bet.

If Sunday/Monday lives up to the predictions this will be one of the snowiest Winters in decades and also one of the coldest considering January's temps.Only in the past week up until today have I been seeing some bare ground and in the shade nothing.I hate it now but when the warmer weather comes the single biggest benefit of this Winter will be a heavily reduced tick population and less mosquitos for a very short time.

Gonna be cold here but no snow. I couldn't handle the cold you people are gonna have
