Hello everyone:
As many of you know i just took delivery of my new smoker, a Lang 48 Patio, I call Lucy. I seasoned her well on Saturday and Sunday after church i took her for a maiden voyage and smoked with her.

I smoked 2 Tenderloins (pork), a pork butt, a rack of baby backs, 4 beef short ribs, 5 sweet Italian sausages, and a whole spatchcocked chicken. below are the pictures....

For sure treat the lady right with a night out. Plenty of time to play with mistress.

Aaron,
Did you sell your other smoker?
Yes I did! Betty was sold 3 weeks to the day after i advertised her for sale. i put up ads here and on local craigslist and a nice older man from Asheville NC bought her and fell in love with her same as me. I bought Betty (lang 36 original) for base price of $1295 and got $1000 back out of her. i did pay $400 for shipping i pretty much figured i would eat that. the only thing i really put into Betty aftermarket was a new thermometer because the one that shipped with her was broken when i got it (read like 50 degrees off). so i put an $18 river country on it never had any problems afterwards.

I still have Bullet (WSM 22.5) which helped me be able to smoke before i got Lucy and after I sold Betty. i still plan to use it for cold smoking for a while. i might give it to a friend also.

Glad you were able to sell her for a pretty good price. I know you really enjoyed that smoker.
Now you stepped up to the big leagues.
