first off I want to thank all the guys that gave me some good advice on where to look and what type of smokers too buy at first I had a $800 for a budget for a smoker then I had to pay some taxes so that took me down to about $400 not really that bad so I started searching to see what I could find and low and behold i found a really nice old country pecos bbq pit smoker some guys on this sit gave some good advice on them so I checked them out and brought one home with me im seasoning it as i speak I pick a good one the doors seal up really nice but after going to two different academy sports this was the best one i had seen so I guess im alittle lucky so here's a few pics of my new toy thanks everyone I really do love this sight

now this is going to take me a minute to figure out im used to smoking with propane so ill take all the advise you all can give me and again thanks everybody

Run the exhaust wide open and choke the fire with the intake to get the right temperature.

Yeah ive been playing around with that been at it for 4 hours.I have a question when I put a piece of wood in the smoker it starts out thick and white how do I get the thin blue smoke when I put a new price of wood in
