Atwoods has Lumber Jack Pellets $8.79 through June 1. Getting ready to go get some as I down to my last bag. Its a 40 mile drive to Gainesville Tx for me but the only place in North Texas I know to get them. Wondering if it's worth getting a bag of the char ones?

Not sure if it is closer but there is an Atwoods in Crossroads off of 377, north of 380. Not sure if this is any closer for you.

Hey Brian I mentions in a thread last week Bomgaars in Sherman had Lumberjack pellets on sale for $8.99/bag PLUS an offer for a $5.00 mail in in-store credit for each bag. Not sure if they're still offering this sale or not. They were $11.99 regular price. Would have saved you a trip to Gainsville. As far as the Char blend pellets are purely a personal choice. I know some folks really like em. Might give Bomgaars a look next time you're in that area. They actually sell Trager pellets too.

Man I wish i would seen that! At least I know I can get them now. When I seen your post I ended up just getting 1 competition 1 pecan and 1 mesquite. Thanks Randy. I guess guy drown at river. So sad. With flood gates open it is pretty dangerous. About all they been catching is Drum. I waiting for lake to get down to about 628 to be able to fish out at the colbert boat club.

If you pass by a Market Street while on your trip, the "Texas Mesquite Grilling Pellets" are 100% mesquite wood pellets:

In my opinion, beef smoked with Mesquite simply cannot be beat :D

I dont get that way much anymore. Goody's Liquor in Anna has great prices and HEB in Melissa open now. Only time I need to go further is for 99 Ranch but next time I will go there for them. Thanks Carlo.

I passed by a bunch of Mesquite trees off 82 today. One was dead. I almost stopped and used my chainsaw to cut a few branches. There is also a bunch off 56 out of Sherman.
