BCFishman asked me last week if I wanted a 1000 gal tank for 35 dollars I said sure don't know what I'll do with it but for that price I'll take it. Well he went and paid for it for me and had them just hold it till I could get there this week. Went yesterday and got it they also had a 120 gal tank so I picked it up too then we spotted some 100 lb cylinders asked and the guy says you can have one of those for free so. The 1000 gal tank is almost 16' long and 42" in diameter. Now I gotta figure a use for it. The 120 I want to make a reverse flow with and the 100 lb cylinder would make a good firebox for a propane tank grill I have at camp.
That trailer is just over 16' long

The 120 gal

The 100 lb

I still think that 1000 gal one who make a great submarine. That sucker is huge!!

Nice score, Jerry! Glad Nick found them for you. I think you should mmake the big one into a lap pool.

How far was the tow home? Glad you didn't get stopped, don't you need a Hazmet license to tow such a item?

Hmm.....

Well you can always use the big tank and start a porta potty business.

Steve I did check on the hazmat thing and was told once the tank is evacuated and the valves pulled then it no longer requires the hazmat.

Jerry,

If you chop that bad boy in half, you could make a couple of really heavy duty vertical smokers out of it. One built-in for the back yard, and one for a trailer. Heck, you could sell one and cover your costs for all and pocket some $$$!

Great Score!

Mark that was one of my thoughts cut in half then put the fire box and warming cabinet on the cut end and allow the smoke to roll up the other end. A smoker that size would have to be on a trailer tho

I have to figure out whats wrong with my welder or get a new one before I can do anything.

Nice deal!

You have any idea what each of those separately weigh?

How about...how do you know if they're safe to cut into?
Stand back 100 yards and shoot them with a 30-06?
