Hello my name is Keith and I am from Henderson, Nevada which is right outside Las Vegas. I  have lived here for 60 years and originally from Detroit. I am 65 years old getting ready to retire in about 8 months. I have a Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5 in which I want to learn how to smoke on it. Read all kinds of articles in the past few months. I also have a Masterbuilt electric which I will use once in awhile. I am a novice smoker when it comes down to it. Smoked on and off for about 20 years mostly on small smokers.

Welcome to the forums. Great info round here from many knowledgable people. I'm from right outside of Detroit and I also have a masterbuilt electric (MES 40). I also have a chargriller pro (offset firebox) smoker.

Wish I was in Nevada this winter buddy. Worst winter of my life! Lol
