Hey everybody! I've been smoking for several years now. I'm a Realtor in the greater Phoenix area and in my spare time, my wife and I enjoy our "Smoking Days" together. I take care of the meats and she specializes in the fish and veggies. Believe it or not, our smoking days are actually limited due to the "summer temps". It is actually difficult to maintain ideal smoking temps due to the ambient temperatures. But when the temps finally break, we enjoy our "Smoke Days" from Halloween through Easter. Looking forward to learning many new recipes and tricks from you all.

Good to meet ya!
So it's hot enough to foil up some wood chips and see them smoke on the cement? lol...
Welcome and have fun!
Hope you 2 get to try a bunch of new smoking recipes.

Welcome from south central Pennsylvania! I was out there years ago to Flagstaff to see the Grand Canyon and we flew into Phoenix. So I know about those "cousin Eddie cooking the chicken on the rocks lol" temps. Yea I've also been picking up tips and recipes and just enjoying these forums too. What kind of smoker setup do you have? Here's mine, a Rivergrille Cattlemans 29" with side firebox. I've only been smokin bout a month and still workin on achieving that light blue smoke. So I'm always looking for the tips from experienced smokers and pitmasters. Look forward to seeing ya around the forums.

Welcome to SMF! Glad you're here and enjoying the smoke. You might want to take a look at a smoker you can set and forget. I've smoked in 100-110F heat while sitting inside enjoying the AC.

There are a ton of recipes and ideas here. Try all you want.

Enjoy the forum!
