I have a couple quart bags of gulf shrimp that my sis and BIL brought back for me from vacation (2 different sizes). The smaller ones I'm thinking ABT's,the larger ones maybe try part in a fatty??with cocktail sauce??
Any ideas....

shrimp ABT's are awesome, I posted my version on here, but am bad at putting up links. The only thing I will do different next time is brine the shrimp first so I could cook the peppers longer.

simple smoked shrimp are also awesome,

Id be worried the great shrimp taste would get lost in a fatty imho. Interesting concept though., perhaps a "jambalaya fatty", shrimp, rice, and andoullie sausage..

thanks for the assist, do you get the links from just copying the address bar when you have the post pulled up, thats what it looks like?

I like Abt's and shrimp are a good uses of the small ones. For the large one just skewer them and smoke them just make sure you have a good smoke flowing for max flavor because they cook so fast they don't get alot of smoke time. I personally and we get alot of shrimp here that were swimming that morning I grill them with alittle fresh garlic and butter slauthered on them. So if your still looking for a few good things to do with shrimp rent the movie with foster Gump he has alot a ways to cook shrimp.

Not to dis chisoxjim, cause I respect and appreciate his help.... but what if I "KICK" the shrimp a little and use really mild sausage....? I'm Willing to expeiriment for the "team"....

Or has anyone tried this yet....

Take it from someone who eats shrimp weekly, Shrimp will be over powered by any sausage. If you kick up the heat in the shrimp to compensate for the sausage then you loose the flavor of the shrimp to the pepper.
Make a chicken and andoullie and rice ( jambalaya) fattie and grill the shrimp and serve them on the side.
As allways this is JMHO.
