Looking for my first smoker, torn between Camp Chef, Recteq, others

That's the way to do it. I cook in bulk (can't beat Costco) and freeze for other dishes. Another tool in the chest!
Oh, I also use the Costco brand pellets, ie $12.99 per 40lb bag..... if you do the math, I went through about 600lbs of pellets so far this year for a total of $200 ish which equals about 35 cents an hour of smoke...... pretty dang efficient.

Oh! I’m so glad you posted this. I was wondering if those were any good. I’ll be buying a bag asap.

So I just finished my second smoke in the 590. Best ribs I’ve ever had. And it can only get better from here!
