Looking for good local BBQ

Guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but, I am in Texas this wee for work and I would like to know where are a few good local BBQ joints I can try. I am out side of Fort Worth and I have no problem traveling an hour for some good BBQ. Usually the good places are not on the internet. I love to sample good local BBQ and gather ideas and styles to apply to my BBQ!

Rudy's is a chain now, but they started in Texas (I think) and have a good reputation.  I haven't personally been to one in years, but there's probably one somewhat near you.

I've been to a few  BBQ places in Fort Worth, and would consider Angelo's the best of the ones I've visited.

Oddly, really good BBQ is hard to find in the DFW area. It's hit or miss, and mostly miss. Of course, that's all relative to what you're used to.

To find the top notch stuff, you'll need to do some driving.
