I have a free day with only a couple small honey do list items, but no meat ready. Looking for something quick that I can run to the store to get, prep and smoke in a few hours. Anyone got any fun ideas. I've never tried smoking wings yet. I think that may be the leader in the clubhouse... Any other ideas

Can't go wrong with chicken thighs. I like the bone in with skin.

I'm with you on the wings!
About 1 hour & 20 minutes at 250, then onto a hot grill for a couple of minutes & they are killer.
The only better way is with a vortex & a Weber kettle!

Wings are good, so is a fatty, a meatloaf or a rack of ribs.

I'm voting for meatloaf . Now I want some .

Wings are great for sure. Fatties and meatloaf good too. I honestly think a chuck roast would work well too.

Nice thick bone- in pork chops. Whatever seasoning you like, smoke, reverse sear.

Decided on giving wings a shot. Thanks for the ideas guys. Some day I'll need to figure out what a fattie is and give that a shot:).

Fatties are a breakfast sausage log and can be fancy like above.... or naked like this. This is a 2# log. You season them with your favorite rub, and hot smoke for about 3 hours until 160°, then wrap and hold at least an hour. Good for appetizers, sliders, reheated for breakfast etc.
