Heard a lot of folks praise Pops bacon brine.
So been looking for recipe and well just unable to find.
Also Bears recipe.
Both of these smokers seem to have a lot of people who really like their brine, liquid and dry.
So if you all could give me a hand...
Thanks Kit

Hi Kit,
Here's my Bacon Step by Step:
Bacon (Extra Smoky)

The link below all of my posts can take you to my complete Step by Step Index too. (See Below)

Never knew what pork belly wasn’t before I started posting here. Was at Costco tonight picking up some spare ribs and was surprised they carried them. I will have to do some research and look into this. Are they just for bacon?

Gees thanks all. Learned a few things.
Surprised some too as the brine's I had made up are pretty close to both these two fellow's recipes.
One of these days I will see if I can post some of mine for all to play with. Still trying to figure out how to navigate on this site and also unfortunately don't have the means to post pictures of some of my different stuff that I try make.
One thing I really do different is convert all measurements to metric which makes it easier to adjust measurements of different size batches than fractions or things like tablespoons, teaspoons, oz. etc.

I never see pork belly in my usual groceries.
Been getting mine at Costco. Think Good Sam's is affiliated with them.
They have nice thick bellies. When i don't find them, I have talked to butchers there as well as write corporate to request they stock it. Has worked so far, though they have increased their prices some. Last I bought was 2.69 a pound.
