Howdy folks,

many greetings to this community from the other side of the pond (Germany).

My name is Tom and I am eager to learn new grilling tips & techniques here in this forum.
I do own a Weber Q300 with rotisserie and currently I'm working on a project to make my Maverick ET-732 "wifi-ready" by capturing the RF-data between sender unit and receiver unit. My ambitious plan is to display and monitor the temperature readings on my cell phone while a long-job like pulled pork is sizzling on the grill and I am away from home.

Since I'm not a native English speaker I hope you guys will forgive my orthographic "mishaps". Thanks in advance

Hello!

If you are away you miss the fun of all the

accoutrement of smoking and 'Q.

The beer, while waiting to peek, for example!

The smell -  oh yeah!

Hi, a pulled pork easily needs 20 hours or more. I don't need to hang around there for the full time, meanwhile I can run some errands or so ...
Regarding beer: I won't miss the fun of drinking while away from home since in my country we are allowed to drink in public, even while driving

20 hours?
