Just took delivery of my new LSG 42. Did the initial burn in yesterday and doing it’s first cook today. I’ll say this…this unit is night and day compared to the Traeger Timberline 850 D2 I have. It’s a little more than double the weight alone. So, now we’ll see how it smokes a small pork butt.

So here’s the end result from the first test cook. Came out better than the Timberline, but this will be the last butt I buy from Publix. The quality is just not there. Can’t wait to do some more testing with this pit.
