Well, some of you know that I have a weird hobby of collecting Bluetooth speakers. I'm up to around 20 now I believe. And when I saw this one. I had to have it. Especially since I got to detonate one while in the Army back in 1981.

Claymore mine! For a gimmicky speaker. It doesn't sound bad either.

That is a weird collection but cool for you. I bought a few in the past but then I changed to a set of wireless Bose noise canceling Bluetooth set of headphones and haven't gone back.

You can't beat Bose quality and sound. I have 4 or 5 of their speakers.

At first, I thought it was the standard 'Front Toward Enemy' writing on the front.
I got a laugh when I realized it says 'Front Toward Party'. :emoji_laughing: :emoji_laughing:

Nice find there.

That's pretty cool and a must have for a collection .

yeah , I thought about you the other day ( not in a weird way ) . I have a split of firewood that's a twisted radius shaped thing , that sits flat on a table . My creative side sees a bluetooth speaker .
I know you've made some , and posted where you get the parts . Just wondering the ins and outs of doing that .

I get the parts through Rockler. But kits are easily found online. They are plug and play. The only thing you need to figure out would be the internal size of the enclosure, so you get the proper sound reproduction. You can google that. It's sized mostly to the speaker size.

Do you have this one, Steve?

It absolutely rocks in the shower!
Not expensive, around 35 bucks.

I have to agree with this one. My old GMC truck had a Bose system in it. By far the best factory installed system I've ever had.

I remember now . I did look at some before . I'd probably need to rip the split in 2 , hollow out a section , then put it back together .

I’m interested in getting a Bluetooth speaker for my shop. So many choices.

What do you recommend? I want good quality, great sound so I rock out while I’m out in my shop!

I have the Sony SRSXG500 in my shed for now. This is a large speaker with great sound. And plenty loud.

Once the shed is done. I'm putting this beast in there.

This thing is a beast! Almost 30 pounds! And pumps out the tunes very well.

I also have this one.

Another strong contender.

And this is another really good speaker. This one is also huge. +

Just about any speaker from Bose is very good. Just won't have the output you maybe looking for.

Now that's an interesting collection / hobby. Cool looking for sure
