Still got some beans in the main garden.
To the left and right of the purple flowers we have sweet and jalapeño peppers.
Beyond the greenhouse are some potatoes and up on the hill are 6 fruit trees. 3 apple and a plum a nectarine and a apricot.

On the other side we have some tomatoes in the flowerbed and 2 cherry trees also 4 blueberry bushes out around the swing.

That is a nice set up, I am surprised the deer did not mow everything down. My house in PA (Pike County) is over run with them. The only way I can grow veggies here in NY is to move all the plants into the fenced pool area. I like the greenhouse, does that give you extra grow time in the spring and fall?

We have a lot of deer around, but so far they haven’t bothered the flower beds too much. We do have a fence around the garden and electric fence around the fruit trees.

My wife loves growing things, so usually in February or so she starts seeds in the greenhouse and that is where most of our flower and veggie plants come from.

My Daughter has 1 plant . Some type of grape tomato . Wasn't doing much , so we decided to cut off all the lower " green " that didn't have any flowers . It took of after that , as much as one plant can do .
She's been picking 2 to 4 a day . Since it's not worth the chance to make a salad , she just snacks on them .

Yeah, I had a botany teacher in high school that taught that method. He said you had to scare the plant into thinking it's dying, so it'll put more energy into making fruit to reproduce. I've already trimmed them some.

Your garden and place looks great! We've had a few garden fresh maters, just canned 14 pints of green beans yesterday. Garden is doing great !
Those deer need to be marinated!

Some of them will be if I have any say in the matter! I usually shoot 2 or 3 a year!

My favorite is butterfly loin on the kettle grill! super good eating!

I grew red flames last year . Turned them all into powder .
I've picked one green bell this year , then it stalled . Now it has 3 on it , but not getting very big .
Jalapeno is loaded , as well as the Habs . I'm surprised how well it's all doing with this heat , and just being in pots .

The heat really stunted my garden and I've kept up with rain water and city water.
My goal with Cayenne is to make the dark or black powder that excludes the seeds.

My wife's garden is still going strong, peppers galore, tomatoes a plenty, freeze drying and saucing quite a few. Blueberries and blackberries have run their course. Carrots, radish and beets, maybe cabbage going in tomorrow.

Been storming all morning . Finally cleared off . So I go out to check my buckets ,
and find this . Anaheim stripped clean . Was really doing good to .

The top of the cherry tomato was stripped clean , so I looked where it still had leaves .
There that nasty SOB was . Picked it off , then saw a Habanero pepper eaten .
Found one on there too . He must have just got on the branch because all the leaves look good .
The Hab and Jap plants are loaded , and really just getting going .
Looked everything over real good , and didn't see anymore . So hard to see though .
Found 2 and looked like the damage was just done .
Nasty damn things .

Wow, great to see so many Gardners here. We are closing in on 30 straight days over 100 with many more in front of us. Not a drop of rain either.

We already harvested out potatoes, onions, and carrots. Ran out just now to grab some pics to share. We garden in raised beds and I have it all rigged with micro sprinklers. Anyone interested, I'm happy to share details, works great, even in this weather and saves water.

The tomatoes are growing on a cow panel dome trellis. It's 6' tall and the tunnel is 5' wide. The tomatoes growing are about 9' tall. Most of the peppers are growing in water troughs, I have water reservoirs in the bottom that feeds the soil up from the bottom. Those just need water once every 10-15 days. If interested I'm happy to share design details.

It's brutally hot and the tomatoes are paying a price but we have been getting tomatoes for a few months and continue to get them, just a slower pace. The tops are healthy and we expect to see another flush of tomatoes after it cools. The peppers love it.

We also have 2 fig trees that are going ripe now, a peach tree, and new this year we put in 3 apple trees. We grow herbs in all the beds on the front of the house and replaced our Holly shrubs with blackberries. It's way too hot to use our greenhouse right now but we'll do late tomatoes in there .along with kale, spinach, and maybe broccoli or cauliflower. We start all of our plants minus onion, and tators from seed indoors.
