Ok whats your smoking plans. I'm not sure yet depends on how many of the kids come over but the freezer is ready there is a brisket in there. Plus a pork shoulder, plenty of ribs, pork loin, chicken and I think even a turkey breast, The garden is full of sweet banana peppers for ABT's wow that should cover any request.

Everybody enjoy your holiday and be safe in what ever your plans are.

Family gets together and has a smoking competition (braggin rights only). This year we go simple...ribs. Any type we want, although most of the gals at least just like baby backs. Then each is to take a favorite smoked side. I have seen a couple very intriguing mac & cheese recipes I have been wanting to mess up, I mean try. Probably throw in a meat loaf and some thighs as well. Oh, and I am sure i will enjoy something cold (or 10). Going to be quite the feast I am sure.

Happy Labor Day all...Be safe!!!

No cooking plans as I will be flying solo for the weekend. May be a great time to try a brisket though.

When I'm flying solo, it's my time to experiment with the smoker. 3,2,1, ribs are always a great treat for me and my pooch.

No plans planned as of yet, Warren.
To be honest, I'm still full of crab and shrimp from Saturday...

But I'm hoping my hot sauce and wok jet burner are here before the weekend.

Just trying to get a head count...Couple brisket's, few baby backs and a couple pies.
With this 100 degree weather my smoker is smelling pretty good and it's not even fired up.
Hopefully some cooler weather for the holiday.

No ideas yet. I'm hoping that someone on here posts something that really grabs my attention.

I'm not sure yet what the main meat will be, either chicken, or pork butt. But as a side, I'm going to make some ABTs for the first time. At least some of them will have some left over pulled pork in them.

Working Saturday and dove hunting Sunday and Monday so the grill may get fired up but don't think the smoker will but I have been wrong before, once lmao

I have all kinds of plans . Let's see if they work out
