It is too absurdly hot here in the Ninth Circle of Hell to even contemplate cooking outside...

Man oh man are you ever correct!! The heat has been insane. Yesterday was another record setting day of heat and of course that's the day that one of our AC units decided to go out to lunch. Every HVAC company in the area is booked solid for over a month with all the repairs being called in. Thank God for some education I received from a subordinate who worked for me when I was the Director of Engineering at a huge Marriott hotel. I was able to figure out what the problem was and had the part on hand to fix it.....because the other AC unit went out a couple years ago with the same problem and I ordered extra parts to have on hand for this exact situation.

Is there an imaginary prize for an imaginary cook essay?

It's not precooked, it's "repurposed" when you do your entry, so yes it's legal

I'm good and I am happy to say that I do not ask for and nor do I need anyone's compassion, as there are many many far less fortunate people out there that could use it

I was just being comical with respect to the essay in light of the incomprehensibly inhuman climate here in the Ninth Circle of Hell. I cannot comprehend how anyone can argue that the climate is not becoming hotter regardless of whatever the cause may be.

I was just being comical with respect to the essay

I understand all of this and was being comical also....just kinda playing along so to speak. I guess if we really want to break it down, we could change the term from "compassion" to understanding". Ie: I understand the circumstances you're enduring with the heat because I'm dealing with the exact same thing you are Was not offering anything special or any favors, just joking along with you.

Haven't trapped an iguana yet. Only thing I've caught so far was a big cane toad. They're poisonous. I didn't know bufos ate watermelon. Ribbet.

Who cares? You don't have to eat it, just display the thing on a pretty plate of food and you'll get some very high points for creativity
