Good advice is to read through some of the forums on briskets. Make up a game plan and then tell everyone the plan. From there people will be able to give you pointers. I hope I don't come across as rude, but the question is just too open.

Well, cook low and slow. Get loads of beer. Tell wife you'll be awhile. Enjoy yourself. Look here for ideas on the cut of meat your smoking.
