You just add some Kool Aid to your favorite rub, not a real recipe.
Add to your taste

zeller, I think that you're looking for my "No Salt Rub" that uses lemonade powder. I found my "What's the weirdest thing you have used" thread where the link to the No Salt Rub was posted but that link is broken.

Do a google for "No Salt Rub" and Paul Kirk. It ought to be on the 'net by now.

Here's another link to a rub used on a brisket that had sugar-free raspberry kool-aid. The creator of the thread has come up with some very creative rubs and marinades, and this is just one of them.

zeller, I went through my files and found the "No Salt Rub" so here ya go:

BARON’S NO SALT RUB
(Dutch’s Version)

1 cup ‘Sugar in the Raw’
3 tablespoons New Mexico chili powder
1 tablespoon Sugar-free citrus flovored* "Kool Aid" powder
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons celery seed
2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 teaspoon sage

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Store any unused rub in an air tight container

*orginal recipe calls for lemonade flavor. You could probably use flovor that you want.
