This is a simple and outstanding sauce that I would HIGHLY recommend.  I made it today and everyone raved about it....can't go wrong.

1 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup catsup ( I use all natural- no  corn syrup)

TB red pepper flakes

TS worstershire sauce

1/4 cup  brown sugar

TS salt

TS cayenne pepper

Simmer after you make it and again before serving.

Sounds good...copied and saved!  Looks like it'll have a little Carolina flavor to it.

Ill be trying this, this weekend.

Been thinking how to simplify my BBQ sauce and dryrub.

But got to have molasses and abit of dryrub in my sauce, evil smile....

Is it hot or spicy? I need a pp sauce.

Wife doesn't even like pepper.

Cut out the cayenne but if my mom ate it and nephews and nieces ate it up then it wasn't spicy.

Wife just said it sounds good, so its a go.

Sounds good! Have you ever thought of using some Chipoltle Tabasco instead or in addition to the cayenne pepper? Adds a little heat and nice smoke flavor

FINALLY found this post again. After my computer crashed and I lost all my bookmarks, I finally narrowed down the multitude of searches and found this simple but outstanding finishing sauce.

I personally like adding chiopotle in adobo sauce for a nice calm smoky heat
