Im new on here i just wanted to say hello. I'm from Gainesville Ga. I just recently got a Brinkman vertical smoker. I haven't smoked anything yet. I was wondering if anyone knew,what would be a good meat to start out smoking ? Suggestions are welcomed. As i said before i new to smoking. Thanks John.

John welcome to SMF glad you joined us. For a first smoke I'd recommend something like chicken either whole or parts, a pork butt, fatty, abt's, meatloaf, turkey any or all would be a pretty good first smoke and shouldn't cost much just in case you run into problems. Of course if you should happen to run into problems all you have to do is jump on the site and ask and someone will be more than happy to help. Have fun and happy smoking
