Hey All,
Just a little Tuesday food porn. Local supermarket (Big Y for those in the NE) had BB ribs for $1.99/lb - no brainer!

Pulled the membrane, some rub and brown sugar. 225°F 6 hrs, glazed at the 5:40 time point. Threw on some corn too. I'll try to do a plate shot if I remember!

Yup---I'd Eat It !!
$1.99 for BabyBacks?!?!
At least $3.99 around here!!!
Nice Job.

WR, Looking good, fine meal coming up ! Nice price on the BB, I have some St louis ribs on right now and was happy to get them for 1.99 !

Thanks all! Yes, $1.99 was a surprise for BBs. I can usually find spares for 1.99 at least every other week but BBs on sale are usually still 2.99. Will pick up a couple more packs for the freezer.

Ribs were darn tasty though maybe not quite as juicy as could be - I may have to wrap a bit in the future, never a problem with spares but the BBs don't quite have the same fat. My corn was ok, but mine friend really liked her's, I think I just had a bad ear - a couple didn't look that great to start with...

Anyhow plate shots:

Great looking ribs!
And that was quite a score!
I think I would have bought a few racks for the freezer!
