Ya know... I love the jokes but just haven't read them in a while since, well you gotta look for them. Heck, I miss reading the funny pages in a newspaper. Guess I'm gettin old.

"Jokes" has it's own forum under Community.Within that forum you would start a new thread.

IT USED TO BE THAT ANY NEW POST WAS LISTED ON THE HOME PAGE AND FOLKS COULD FIND IT FROM THERE. THEN SOMEONE GOT OFFENDED BY ONE OF THE JOKES I POSTED AND COMPLAINED TO THE ADMINS SO THEY GOT HARDER TO FIND. I'VE READ THE MORNING FUNNY PAGE FOR GOING ON SEVENTY YEARS NOW, EVERY DOG I HAD LEARNED TO FETCH THE MORNING PAPER UNTIL IT STARTED COSTING TOO MUCH FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION, NOW I READ THE MORNING FUNNYS ONLINE. THIS ONE STRUCK HOME!

Thats why it was removed from that section.

Jokes are great and I like them but not if it takes over the recent post page.

I used to love the funny pages in the Commercial Appeal news paper growing up

Because some people want their own thread and not a rolling one.

Its been moved back up in the forum list and we will look at the possibility of putting back in the recent thread list.

I like dad jokes and jokes that make you groan. I also appreciate the fact that when I come here I can primarily see posts about smoking meat since that is the focus of the forum.

I visit other forums and in some cases there's a dedicated thread to Jokes That Make you Groan. I've contributed to it here and there. It doesn't have anything to do with the focus of the forum specifically, so it's in a sub-forum. I've subscribed to it so I can see it when new posts are made, but jokes aren't overtaking the topic of the forum.
