A friend of mine works for DFA. (Dairy Farmers of America). And 2 weeks ago they had to go off line because they were hacked.

That’s what happens when you let China own our infrastructure. This is the tip of the iceberg.
JBS USA Holdings is located in Greeley, Colorado. It's parent company is JBS S.A. which is a Brazilian company headquartered in São Paulo.

And as has mentioned, they control about 23% of the industry. I foresee a meat shortage in 3-2-1-----NOW!!

The cyber attack originated in Russia, so I'm sure that Biden is on the phone with Putin telling him to "Cut it out".

He called to tell him that but by the time the phone rang twice and Putin answered he forgot why he was calling and hung up

One might think and any decent size company with a lot to risk would be amping up the cyber security. there have been enough hacks to alert everyone out there. I would think this, but apparently "some people" still think it wont happen to them.

Let's take this to home. What if "we" had our system hit with a local weather disaster, Ransomware or some other program. Could we rebound within 24 hours to get back to at least basic PC operations, forgoing games, Nintendo, etc.
  1. Do we have isolated or remote backup/redundant file storage of our critical files? This is as simple as compressing a file(s) and storing it on One Drive, Drop Box, Norton vault, etc. TIP: Keep a separate email account for backup access. (i.e. Microsoft account and your internet provider account)
  2. Do your portable items - iPad, iPhone, Android, etc. have the same software as the PC to use as remote access devices? Most software packages allow up to 3-5 additional users/installs on different devices. We often overlook what we have in our hands.
  3. Is our software up to date - IOS, Windows, Security software. That's why I like automatic update. Tend to forget a "few things" now and then?! LOL!:emoji_thinking:
Sorry folks, didn't intend to sound like a DHS PSA. But I thought this might help with someone with an idea or two. 🍻
