I live in Western Pa just a about 25 miles north of the Pittsburgh, today it is 60 degrees and there are people out walking the road in shorts,

now I know this probably isn't unusual for some of you folks out there, but for Western Pa, the temperature this time of year is usually much colder like 20' or 30' and sometimes even  in the single digits.

but I was curious what goin on in other areas of out great nation?

68 and cloudy here in the panhandle!!

  Craig

It finally warmed up today, sunny & in the 70's. That's normal for this time of year here. The last couple of days it's been in the 50's for the high which is unusual.

53F and sunny here in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Our big concern, no rain.  The Sierras have no snow.  Very dry season so far.

Curt.

58 and Sunny in Central PA...JJ

it should be -20 Celsius (4F) here in MB, we are sitting at +4 (20F) celsius right now with hardly any snow - and we have had nothing but this warm weather for all of Dec and Jan

The weather we are having is giving  me the itch to get the garden started.  I have potato beds ready and I am turning a fallow field for corn and beans this weekend.  I know I am jumping the gun but I think I want to get the land ready for early planting this year.   The potatoes normally go in around Feb 1st but I'll give them a try mid January this time.  Kind of concerned about the peaches though,  they need some cold weather to set fruit in the spring.

The warm, rainy weather will be good for crawfish if it holds.   It's in the 70's now, about 15 degrees higher then normal

Unseasonably warm for us as well.  Mid 60's yesterday.  Record low for this time of year is in the -30's.  I'd say normal hi is around 25-30 this time of year.

We are in our final day of 80+. Should start cooling down into the 70's over the weekend. No rain is killing us though -

Been warm here as well I haven't wore a coat in a week. This time year norm is full time coat.

In the 50's here in the mountains which isnt good and no snow.

Here is December temps.....  Had a few warm days... It was nice.....

We don't live too far from each other...South Hills of Pittsburgh.

Just finished smoking a couple slab of ribs for tomorrow's playoff game vs. Denver...Go Steelers!

Oh yea.  Today it's 50 degrees and sunny...Isn't life grand?

Take care,  John

Hey your handle abbreviates to BC too!

But I'll take this weather, over our normal January temps and icy snowy roads for sure!

Penguin first! then Steelers tomorrow..... so GO PENS! tomorrow GO STEELERS!

Here in Central CA we have 53 right now, looking for 58 today and 65 on Monday.

It has been a very mild winter here.  Also dry, no rain in December and none over 10% in the 10 day forecast. Not a good thing for our economy which is mostly agricultural.

Good luck and good smoking.
