JAB, or, Just Another Brisket

Went over to help a fellow SMF member with a brisket yesterday and I took him some of my brisket rub. As I was packing the rub up to take over, my bride shook some of it into her hand for a taste. She then informed me that she wanted brisket for supper on Sunday, so, happy wife means happy life!

14 pounder is in the smoke! Smoking with pecan pellets using the AMAZEN expandable tube. I'll probably wrap this one since I'll be pressed for time. I had a bit of a "headache" this morning and got started later than I wanted to.

That's why I love my big electric smoker, I can sit in my recliner and nurse my "headache" and not have to worry about the temperature. Oh, the tappecue helps too! :laugh1:

At 193 it probed great so I sliced and served!

Man, I could go for a hunk of that.  I haven't cooked a brisket in quite some time. Got one in the freezer I might just have to thaw
