My wife has been with the FAA just shy of 30 years. The past 7 she has been a supervisor at LVIA in Allentown PA.

Two months ago she bid on Savannah GA Supervisor job at the Tracon and yesterday got the official word that we are relocating to Savannah. Her release is in Sept from Allentown Tracon. Been waiting for the southern living for some time now

No more snow blower

Yup anything that pellet poops, smokes, uses charcoal, stuffs, grinds, dehydrates, processes, crimps, clamps, soaks, chops, slices, pours, sprinkles, rubs, marinades, sucks air out, freezes is heading south.

Oh and the Mrs and the 2 mini pups

Congrats!! I'm a little envious, as SE GA is one of my favorite places on Earth. Something about the sultry atmosphere and those moss draped Live Oaks just tugs at the deepest parts of my soul. My wife and I were married on Saint Simons Island, and try to get down there for a visit at least once or twice every year. My dream is to one day be your neighbor, albeit about an hour down Rt. 17.

Well, being from the Quakertown area, just below Allentown, all I can say is You Are Freakin Lucky!!
My snowblower pooped out on me after the last two rotten winters we had.

Seems like i have had the nepas name for like 5 years so i might just stay with it.

We go south many times a year and Savannah is just so nice. Have lots of old friends in NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, LA, TX so its like a day drive to visit instead of a few days drive. Besides my Army sons and DIL are at Bragg so we will be closer.

Going to be cool meeting new friends to.
