I was wondering who's going to be dropping a brisket in to soak? Who's going to corn a brisket and make pastrami or Montréal Meat?

I am guessing this year I am going to try again, no that doesn't mean buying a corned beef and smoking it. Taking a brisket and brining it, then smoking it. I tried another last year, the taste was good but the texture was terrible.

May even attempt some rye!

So who among you, is going to join in the noble quest to achieve "THE" sandwich? Or corned beef and cabbage? Sausage and potatoes? The wee folk are watching!!

Unless someone gives me beef or I hit a steer with my truck I'll only be corning deer!
