Hi. I was smoking a turkey at 230-235 degrees in a smokin-it smoker. At 2:30 am(after about 11 hours on, the breast was at 156. I set an alarm to check at 4 am. When i woke up the breast was at 136. I found that sometime during the 2 hours that the gfi outlet had triggered I am assuming due to the rain/slee/snow that started. I reset the outlet and brought the bird in to finish in the oven. Any thoughts on what to do/ what temp to get the bird back to?

Thanks

Matt

I usually pull my turkeys out at 157, so I'm assuming that your turkey is done. You just need to keep it above 140 until your ready to eat. I certainly wouldn't let it get above 160, cause the carryover cooking will bring it up to 165, anything above that & the breast will start to dry out.
