Hadn't thought about it, but I do see those signs in BBQ joints...Pinkish color...hadn't occured to me why they put those up...

being a northerner you should be used to it by now, I still get it from time to time and we got like 15 bbq joints in a town of 400,000, you think by now everyone would have seen some pink but alot of people and places around here think the bbq sauce is what makes it bbq, my wife laughed and asked how I forgot bbq sauce for the last brisket I did and I replied I don't need sauce to bbq and she thought it was funny because I said it so seriously. Ribs and Chicken legs get sauced the rest you better add it yourself!
