Checking in.  New around here, but not to smoking or cooking.  Just built a smoker out of a 1954 Fridgidaire with electric element, PID control and an amazin products pellet smoker.  Interests are old cars, fabrication, electronics, fishing and hunting.  I work for a major cable company and have for 15 years.  I'm from Northern Michigan originally, but now reside in the Grand Rapids area.  Looking forward to learning as much as I can about smoking.

Hi Planecrazy...Welcome to the group!  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of good people here who really know their stuff and genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input around here, and just ask when you need anything...someone will surely have the answer.
