Yeah, I'm sure its possible, just haven't personally had any issues. And honestly, I'd deal with some connectivity issues if it meant I got accurate temps (my biggest complaint with Inkbird). Nothing like ruining a chunk of beef by overcooking it by 5 or so degrees because of a poorly calibrated temp probe.
