Good morning!

That looks like a really nice unit. Darn it! I just bought the ThermoPro TempSpike XR two probe. Two is all I need. I don't cook for a crowd anymore. I do like the wireless thermometers for the rotisserie and for steaks.
That's a killer deal, thanks for passing it along Abigail.

Geez this is tempting - they even offer free delivery down here. There also appears to be a voucher where you can get 2 sets (so 8 thermometers) for the same price.... I'll be wrestling with this idea all day at work now!

I've used mine about a dozen times now. They are spot on.

I don't see this voucher you speak of 🤔

Edit: I got this now, my Kindle was only giving me the top half of the Inkbird page. Had to reboot.

So if I'm reading the website right, a set of two of the 4 probe wifi/blutooth units is $199 for the pair and a single set with 4 probes is $119.

It's showing $279 (30% off) for the 8 probe double set, with a code of "14BWT" for another $80 off, and it appears to be stackable for a final price of $199 for 2 sets (black/black or black/white). Just has the $80 off code for the single set.

Dang, it's hard not to buy this deal. I'm ordering a pair - the black/white set of 8 probes with 2 bases. In checkout it AUTOMATICALLY applied the 2nd discount for the $80 and a final item price for the pair at $199 for the 2 sets (with no sales tax either, and free shipping).

Thanks for sharing this sale!!!

You enablers made me do this 😄 now I need some help. Purchased this setup, really nice. Question how can you calibrate the ambient temp higher than the 12° that it allows.
Have my RecTeq set at 265°, actual temp is back and forth a few degrees from the set temp. Another RT probe at grate level also in a ball of foil, showing very close to same. I have another Ink bird (IBT-4XS) also at grate level showing very close to same. Have 2 of the wireless (INT-14-BW) inserted in a butt. Ambient temp is dead on with set temp on one probe, other probe is off (low) 34° even with the additional 12° added from the calibration. Any way to get the one closer ? ( I should almost put the.other 2 probes in and see where they are at.)
Don't like the idea, if I head to the golf course sometime, and not getting accurate pit temp sent to me.🤔

I will add, all these probe ends are fairly close together on same end of RT.

The likelihood is a bad probe especially if you tested the other two and they read the same as the first.

Only advice is contact Inkbird about a replacement.

Yeah I think I need to put the other two in there also and see what they are reading.
One probe 268° ambient 157° internal
Other 228° ( without the extra 12°) 143° internal

Temps all over the place now 🤕
RT set point 270°
Actual 269°
Add probe 257°
Ink IBT-4XS. 266° ( the one I've previously trusted)
ink INT-14-BW
Probe 1 248°
2 250°
3 237°
4. 234°
All probes left side of smoker and zero cal adjustment. I'm lost . . .

The wireless probes the ambient temp end outside the meat is close to the meat so evaporative cooling and the heat sink of the meat cools the ambient sensor for low readings until the meat is over half way cooked and the ambient sensor gets more accurate. That's why Thermoworks rfx doesn't use them and has a tethered ambient probe. This makes estimated finishing times on my Therrmomaven wireless probes inaccurate with the algorithm using ambient and IT temps for estimating. The five sensors in each stem are right on and I set ambient end alarm to high / low for a fire or too cool for a smoker falling. I just turn off estimating time left cooking feature and have a high temp IT alarm 5° below desired temp. I start looking at ambient sensor 3/4 done when it becomes accurate to activate estimate time remaining if I want or not. Plus I have another tethered ambient high low safety alarm.

Are the IT readings of the food accurate?
They were about 10-12° less than my other Inkbird throughout the cook.

Understood, as I raised the RT temps to push it along, the separation got further and further from actual set temp. That was even after the stall so the evaporative cooling should have been complete.
Can't give it a whole lot of praise at this stage.

That's an issue.
Yeah, I have both the Inkbird INT-14 and the ChefIQ probes with wifi hub. Inbirds are always consistently off by 7-8° while the ChefIQ is spot on. The ChefIQ probes are also quite a bit smaller which I like. Pros of the Inkbird over the ChefIQ though is connectivity through the app....ChefIQ seems to have a lot of issues staying connected which is a PITA, where the Inkbird has been flawless in that aspect.

I did lose connection twice with the Bird and it was only 10' apart.
