I have some teriyaki snack sticks going and when I turned on my Maverick, the barbecue probe is registering 289. The food probe is registering 93. The food probe is not touching anything (just hanging in the box).

I have replaced the batteries in both sending and receiving units.

Any ideas on what may be happening?

I've had it for less than a year. Is it time to replace the probes already?

Yes it sounds like the food probe is bad & have you checked the BBQ probe in boiling water lately.

Nope. I put a good analog oven therm in the box and it is registering close the food probe.

I think Todd sells replacement probes. Time to order more pellets, anyway.

Thanks, Al
