Hello,
just discovered that the temperature probe in the Masterbuilt 2nd generation 40" (512 model) is about 35 degrees off. I am smoking some pork loin sirloin roasts with the probe in the largest piece and it is showing the internal meat temperature at 165 degrees which would indicate it is nearly done. My handy dandy instant meat thermometers (2 or them) show the temperatures at 132 degrees far from been done. Has anyone else experienced this inaccuracy with their units? I guess this means yet another call to Masterbuilt. So far they have had to replace the first smoker, than I just received a replacement remote control that arrived dead on arrival. Three cheers for China made junk.
