If I buy the A-maz-n AMNPS smoker

If you can find dust or pellets locally you can buy them but not all brands of pellets are created equal so some will perform better than others.

     Some commercial pellets are a mix of flavor wood and oak. Todd uses 100 % flavor wood.

Call Todd at A-Maze-N Products.  He is really good to talk with and isn't just about pushing his products.  His pellets are affordable, but he will help you find affordable pellets/dust either online or in your area.  I hemmed and hawed before I bought mine and I spoke with Todd several times before finally buying my AMNPS.  He was very helpful.  I haven't used dust in mine yet, but I got about three hours on a smoke yesterday using less than a full row of pellets.  It provided a great thin blue smoke.  I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Man I want one of these so bad but I just can't figure out how I can make it work in my GOSM for hot smokes. Looking at Todd"s prices on the pellets really look reasonable to me for how long they last and what they do.

I have an idea for that, don't think it's a winner but I want to do it just for fun. I PM'd you a couple of questions about the TD but never heard back.

 i don't have a GOSM but i do have a gasser and with the use of the AMNPS (as well as the original that uses dust) it allows me to use it as a cold smoker for BBB, sausage, chilis for chipotle and anything else i want to cold smoke. i have not tried to hot smoke with it in there since i have a SFB that i use for my hot smokes........
