Being new to pellet grilling, only 3 cooks to date, I'm slowly catching up on the LEARNING curve. I learn something new every time. The weather here in S/W Mi. has been tough. Even though I cook in the gargage, it's a 100ft trek to get there. 1st. lesson, wireless thermo, then humidity, now power interruption. Yep, we had a momentary blink in the power which I did not think about and my wireless showed me the loss of temp on the grill, the Pit Boss dumped it's programming and I had to do a manual restart. No Biggy, but it did again 2hrs later so the pork loin went in the oven to finish. Just something else to think about!! Martin

Wow! 100 ft trek might not sound bad to many folks. But man, when you live in Cold Country, that's a booger-bear dressing up and dressing down, snow packs, etc.
First thing that comes to mind is get a UPS for the Pellet Pooper. So it continues to function through a minor power glitch.
Or build a covered porch for it and such that you can scurry out on to restart it.

I admire your hearty dedication to the Que. :emoji_wink:
