Sometimes stepping outside the box is a fun challenge. Tonight's dinner. Sesame-crusted ahi tuna tostadas on a bed of spring greens tossed in a verde balsamic dressing. Tostadas are topped with a purple cabbage slaw, cotija cheese, a creamy avocado-verde sauce I made, and of course, the tuna. Flanked by a tequila sunrise.

Looks great! Seared Ahi has been the then here lately. I had some last week with a soy sesame aioli and spicy Asian cucumber salad side.

Holy crap, those look kill'er!!!
I can't plate for $h!t, which is weird, I grew up in the kitchen of my Nona's restaurant in Fishermans Warf in SF.
Which is where I learned to cook by taste, feel and heart.

Excellent meal and plating, I'm jealous.
