I purchased some mustard powder and cracked seeds from PS Seasonings and made one of the best mustards I have ever had. It's spicy, but not horseradishy like Dijon..Kind of like chinese, but doesn't make your nose run..lol
Here's the recipe
4 Tb Yellow (cracked) Mustard Seeds
1/2 C Yellow Mustard Powder
1/2 C Water
4 Tb Cider Vinegar
2 ts Salt
Mix it up and let it sit for a week or so. If you try it a few days after, it's REAL spicy. It, like us old guys, gets better with age. I have had it with corned beef, brats and hot dogs. It's yummy!
