Might be. I know I post a lot of links embedded so people can choose to click and go or not.
Maybe I got cooties from it?

This is a common feature in many forums and was added here in SMF when they changed the forum software a year ago.

I'm actually not a fan of the feature and have had it cause problems in other forums when it inserts a link within a link. Not sure if that happens in this forum.

I'm using Google Chrome as my browser.
They still appear in BOLD for me. And still pop Amazon pages.
Interesting.
I did dump my cookies, but no apparent change here.

I kind of thought it was interesting and cool. Thought it was something automatic added lately.

Chopsaw's post (#2) works as well. Must be something here, and at Chris' computer.

I get the links as bold text, too, but rarely follow them. If it isn't happening for everyone then maybe it is some browser setting. I'm on Google Chrome.

Is the text under lined ? If so I believe that is some type of adware . Like I said in post 17 , looks like the guys that can turn off ads aren't seeing it .

Premier members do not see the links for MES,WSM etc.
If you log out they will show
