Went to a local orchard and left with a tractor scoop of apple, a half scoop of cherry, and a half scoop of peach..

All seasoned since last year.. Just had to throw the owner of the orchard a 20..

Good times.. My chain saw and chop saw are getting a workout chopping it up into fist sized pieces..

Congratulations on the score... Sounds like you are all set, now if you could get some oak and hickory that way...

Great deal, you should be set for a long time!

I need to come to Chico. Only 3 hours.

I almost always get all I need for free at pruning time. Of course I have to load it myself. Orchardists usually only have a market for the larger diameter pieces so are almost always willing to let me have the smaller 3 inch diameter stuff.

PS. I did a double take when I saw your post's title.
"I Just got Wood." I was tempted to answer with a post saying ...... " Was V i a g r a involved? " but this is a family site so I curbed my enthusiasm!

PS the V word was censored by the SMF PC police.

I refer to it as vitamin V myself..
