I got a new smoker! Breaking it in with a pork butt.

All done! It was so easy and I kind of feel like I cheated. LOL.
My little spritz bottle no longer spritzes, so I had to baste it the old fashioned way. And I did end up wrapping and putting in the oven for the last hour and a half.

We realized we had no buns or slaw or veggies, and since we are self isolating right now, we ended up having a super simple dinner.
Potatoes were done in one of my new cast iron pans. :)

They say the simplest solution is the best solution.
Everything looks tasty and I'm guessing you'll have enough for dinner tomorrow as well! Hopefully you can get out to get some vegetables...
Great cook and we're looking forward to more in the future!

Very nice score! And bonus on the CI, people just don’t understand how easy a CI is to use....

Green Mtn makes custom covers for cold weather. A buddy of mine has the exact model and he he has smoked almost every other day this winter (15-20 deg F) with the blanket. Amazon has it as well as Sportsman Warehouse has them. I have one for my mini green Mtn as well. It’s a must in the cold

Pretty darned nice piece of work PB, Like! You know if you've got a bag of flour and a head of cabbage, buns and slaw are there to be had, better then you can get from the store, makes you feel good all over. RAY

Nice first round.
Funny, hubby is now encouraging the habit.
If you feel the flavor is lacking, adding a AMNTS with a load of pellets does wonders.
Repeating schlotz schlotz , a cheap welders blanket is your best friend (move over hubby) in the cold times. I got one for less than $20 USD from Harbor Freight. Son-in-law got one too.
I contemplated a moving blanket, decided to avoid the potential polyester weld to metal.
